I live in Bluemont with my husband Mark (church accompanist) and our calico cat Murdock. I am an only child and my parents live here in Hamilton and attend HBC.

| Educational Experiences |

I grew up in Hamilton, Virginia and graduated from Loudoun Valley H.S. in 1975. I then attended Longwood College for 1 year before God called me to The King’s College in Briarcliff Manor, NY. It was a Christian Liberal Arts College. It was very foundational in my Christian growth. I majored in Music Education and graduated in 1980. My first Church choir was at the Bluemont Methodist Church in the Fall of 1980. We came here to Hamilton Baptist in the Fall of 1983. I didn’t start teaching music until 1992. I began work on my Master’s Degree in the summer of 1997 at Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA and completed my degree in Music Education the Spring of 2000.

Enjoy quiet moments alone, watch Stargate SG-1 with Mark, go out to eat with family and friends, try new recipes, conduct our awesome choir, share time with our choir members, worship with our musicians and congregation, take naps, play with our cat.

Busy working in the office/choir room at Church, working at home in our den on choir music and planning, reading in our music room at home or cooking in the kitchen.
